(3) Demonstrate Short Hand Form up to 'Right Foot Kicks Out in a Curve'
(4) 5 Element Arm Drill, Roaring Tiger, Four Directions Drill

ORANGE SASH: Level 3
(1) Attend at least 80% of classes
(2) Demonstrate the Chi Kung Exercises Nos. 7, 8, & 9.
(3) Demonstrate Short Hand Form up to 'Boxing the Ears'

BROWN SASH: Level 6

A. Give 'Reiki' Hands on Healing to a partner
B. Take a group through the 7 Characters of Colour Meditation
C. Demonstrate the entire Tai Chi Sabre Form

BLACK SASH: Level 7
(1) Attend at least 80% of classes
(2) Demonstrate Chi Kung Routine Exercises (Charts 1 & 2)
(3) Demonstrate the entire Tai Chi Short Hand Form
(4) Optional Choice of the following 3 activities:
A. Demonstrate 4 Self Defence and 4 Attack moves against an opponent
B. Demonstrate the entire Tai Chi Short Form Mirror Image style
C. Demonstrate the entire Tai Chi Short Hand Form with the eyes closed
(5) Instruction Skills Assessment (Teaching a class)

Grading Requirements for Holistic Course:-
Brown and Black Sashes
We would like to congratulate you on embarking on this training programme. As you progress with patience and endurance, the turning point will be when you have attained Level 5 (Blue Sash) of the Holistic Syllabus. The final 2 levels of this programme will empower you with the skills & knowledge to become qualified as an instructor and therapist of Tai Chi UK.
To maintain the standard and professional approach to the services we offer, you are required to join the organisation's membership, and to abide by the teaching and training policy. Members must wear the full uniform to be graded. Uniforms are important as they demonstrate one's willingness to accept the discipline of the martial art one has chosen to master. Please order your uniform from Tai Chi UK.
The Membership costs £90.00 per annum and entitles you to 5 hourly (1 to 1)
sessions with a Grade A instructor of Tai Chi UK, (one session per month per member),
Membership Certificate/Card, free access to members' website and free e-mail
address with TCUK.
Find enclosed the Teaching Policy, and Membership application forms for your convenience. Please complete these and return them to your instructor, or to Tai Chi UK, with appropriate fees.
The British Sports Council requires you to protect yourself and those you train with; therefore it is a legal requirement that all Tai Chi practitioners acquire a BCCMA licence, cost £15.00 per annum.

C. Give a verbal account of Yin & Yang and the history of Tai Chi Chuan according

D. Moving Step Pushing Hands, 10 ´ 2 minute bouts in a circle, the
objective being to push the opponent out of the circle

E. Dutch Style Pushing Hands i.e. as practised in Holland), 5 ´ 2 min bouts

D. Supervise and give instructions at a class
E. Prepare a 500 word written paper and Give a 20 minute lecture on the health
benefits of practising Tai Chi Chuan

Grading Requirements for Zenon Wudang:-
Gradings are held every 3 months when the student is confident with a particular level. The candidate may use Charts, Tai Chi UK approved Videos or Course Manuals to assist him/her prepare for the grading. Note: A grading fee of £75.00 should be paid at the time of booking and candidates must be full members at the time of grading.
