The Art of Ptah Khi
The PTAH KHI SCHOOL of Tai Chi Chuan was established in 1997 in the Croydon & Thornton Heath areas now in Streatham; we aim to teach the internal arts in a stress-free environment, to strengthen and balance the mind, body, emotions and develop a friendly social environment. The training at the school allows for students to obtain Black belts levels and become fully qualified instructors. The Ptah Khi School is a associated member of the UK Sport Council recognised governing body for Tai Chi and Chi Gong, the British Council of Chinese Martial Arts (BCCMA); which also allows the school to take part in national events and competitions.

The aim of the PTAH KHI SCHOOL is to support those in the community who are interested in developing mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally using the ancient practice of Tai Chi and Chi Gong. As you invest time we will support the growth of your inner worlds, cultivate your knowledge of self, internal organs and so on, all while connecting with those people who are on the same journey as yourself. Developing and growing with those who are interested in living life energetically and want to practice a wholistic way of life, is essential for those on the path of realisation. Together we can learn to balance the forces of nature; thus finding your own NATURE as you journey through life. We aim to offer everyone of all ages a high standard of teaching and education in a safe and friendly environment with the intent to improve the standard of living. As a result we are affiliated with the British Council of Chinese Martial Arts, who are the governing body for Tai Chi and Chi Gong in the UK this is to ensure we deliver a service of the highest standard.
What is Ptah khi?
PTAH KHI is a complete bio-energetic system of revitalization where TAI CHI CHUAN is the core operating system. PTAH means mind and KHI is vital energy; so PTAH KHI mean MENTAL ENERGY in a nut shell, this refers to the first law of Tehuti "all is mind and everything is mental", therefore where the mind goes chi flows too. The focus is to gain a hold of the intent and combine this with the heart mind, this allow the building of a totally integrated human being, relaxed and ready for all life situation.
