Ptah Khi School Courses
Revitalise your body and mind on our Tai Chi and Chi Gong 12wks exercise program. From calming martial arts to the relaxing movements of the Sekhem sequence, these course are accessible to all levels, to stimulate your mind body and soul with courses in Tai Chi and Chi Gong.
Some courses may run for up to 6 months depending on what you choose to study. All course are designed for groups or one to one lessons so location, time (90 mins a week) and date can be organised on consultation. For all the courses you also get access to videos and tutorials on the exercise you are learning; also additionally a minimum of 40 mins for One to One teaching on Zoom/whatsapp and the ability to contact me at any time to ask question.
All courses end with a practical evaluation, written or verbal test and a certificate of attending a Ptah Khi School Courses.

Learn to discover your Chi? How to develop Chi? Working with a series of 9 exercises the Sekhem Routine a.k.a Ba Duan Jin which are slow, gentle movements which strength & lengthen myofasical structures therefore effecting the muscles, tendons, ligaments, bone, and unlocking the joint and vertebrae. Tapping routine, learning pressure points; developing breath control, practicing static postures, these Tai Chi and Chi Gong exercises will help you learn to energise and strengthen your body, throughout the day and for the rest of your life. You will learn and understand bio-tensegity, how it effects of the organs, how the body is strengthen and toned through integration of the myofascial system, energy channels, the theory of Yin/Yang, and much more.

This course is ideal for those people who want to train online and what to learn the art of Chi Gong, Internal alchemy of breathing, and how to prepare the body for work through correct warm ups & Stretching.

The purpose of this online course is to offer students and members of the public the opportunity to learn the innermost secrets of internal cultivation, through the study of ancient texts, modern research, and personal experience. During the course we will be reviewing secrets of the golden flower, awakening to reality, the yellow court classic (also know as the Jade writings this will be the main text we will review), the book of Lao Tze, then book of kuan Tzu, the book of Chuang Tzu, and of course the Zen teachings of Bodhidharma. During the study of these ancient teachings we were relate this to the internal practices and the energetic flow of Chi through our body or in the world. This course will give us an opportunity to explore the hidden meaning of these writings and how to apply them to our lives.

Learn Wudang Tai Chi - Short Hand Form
The Tai Chi hand form teaches the basis of Tai Chi movement and breath control, as you move from one sequence to another. You will learn thought the practice of the hand form to become centred and grounded during motion which transfer's to one's daily life as your awareness is enhanced.

Tai Chi Weapon Forms
Let’s face it: Nobody carries a Spear or sabre today. Although it’s become relatively inconsequential when it comes to self-defense, the practice of certain weapons routines and techniques can help you develop skills that are useful in life. Tai chi spear sparring, for example, teaches a range of high-level attributes from sensitivity and “listening” to avoidance and evasion. It also develops your ability to judge distances and use proper footwork, which can help you in empty-hand sparring.

Tai chi is a way to understand one’s self. It’s a way to feel the internal flow of energy, as well as any internal tension. There is no opponent except whatever negative thoughts, heavy emotions, or internal demons arise; however with push hands, one must deal with external forces in addition to whatever internal stress one carries. Rather than feeling simply the air, one has a direct experience of the force and energy from one’s practice partner.

The Tai Chi Ruler practice is a very rare system of Taoist Yoga, or Chi Kung utilizing a specially designed wooden wand or ruler. Each exercise coordinates breath, mental and visual concentration with a basic tai chi movements and physical pattern that shifts the body's weight between both legs integrating mind and body to purify the human spirit.
