Word power
Words have incredible power in our lives they provide us with a vehicle for expressing and sharing our experiences with others. Most of us don’t realize that the words we use habitually affect the experience we have in the world. Transformational Vocabulary is about how you can take control of your habitual vocabulary to change the quality of your life. Simply by changing your habitual vocabulary the words you consistently use to describe the emotions of your life you can instantly change how you think, feel and how you live. What’s interesting is how two people can experience the exact same sensations differently in their bodies by virtue of the labels they put on the experience. For example, one person may feel “frustrated” while the other just feels “a little confused.” It amounts to a huge difference in the way we feel, and when we change the way we feel, we change the way we behave. Therefore interpersonal communication chiefly concerned with the relationship between successful patterns of behaviour and the subjective experiences (esp. patterns of thought) underlying them we hope to educate students in this self-awareness and effective communication, and to change their patterns of mental and emotional behaviour. Thus creating a tangible future for one-self.
Affirmation
These are positive statements that describe a desired situation, which are often repeated, until they get impressed on the subconscious mind. This process, pushes the subconscious mind to take action and to strive to make the positive statment come true. When you know how to use affirmations, you get a great tool for achieving success and for improving your life. Most people repeat in their minds negative words and statements concerning the situations and events in their lives, and consequently, create undesirable situations. Words work at both ways, to build or destroy. It is the way we use them that determines whether they are going to bring good or harmful results. Your subconscious mind accepts as true what you keep saying. Think about that?. It attracts corresponding events and situations into your life. .
So why not choose only positive statements, in order to get positive results? Imagine that you are swimming with your friends in a swimming pool. They swim fifteen rounds, something you have never done before, and since you want to win their respect, you want to show them that you can make it too. You start swimming, and at the same time keep repeating in your mind, "I can do it, I can do it...". You keep thinking and believing that you are going to complete the fifteen rounds. What are you actually doing? You are repeating positive affirmations. In a different situation, you might find yourself repeating, "I cannot do this", "It's too big for me", "It is not going to work out", and consequently, lose ambition, motivation and faith, and actually bring about what you said to yourself. It would be a good idea to pay attention to the words you repeat in your mind, to discover whether you are using negative statements, such as:
If you discover that these, or similar words, run through your mind, you should do something to change them
- I cannot do this.
- I am too lazy.
- I lack inner strength.
- I am going to fail.
- Am tired
- Am stressed
- Am not good...
If you discover that these, or similar words, run through your mind, you should do something to change them
Your words and thoughts program the mind in the same way that commands and scripts program a computer. Repeated positive statements help you focus your mind on your aim. They also create corresponding mental images in the conscious mind, which affect the subconscious mind accordingly. In this way, you program your subconscious in accordance with your will. This process is similar to the way creative visualization works. The conscious mind, the mind you think with, starts this process, and then the subconscious mind takes charge.By using this process consciously and intently, you influence your subconscious mind, and in turn, it transforms your habits, behavior, attitude, and reactions, and even reshape your external life. You might, how long it takes to get results. Things might happen immediately, in a few hours, in a few days, or take weeks or longer. This depends on your focus, faith, strength of desire, the feelings you put into the words, and on how big or small is your goal is. It is important to understand that repeating positive affirmations for a few minutes, and then thinking negatively the rest of the day, neutralizes the effects of the positive words. If you want to get positive results you have to refuse to think negative thoughts.

Mantra
The Mantra is a tool to support your meditation practice as well as your day to day living, you can be sitting on a bus or walking down the street. Mantras are similar to affirmation however as they are viewed as ancient power words with subtle intentions that help us connect to spirit, the source of everything in the universe, when this same intention is placed within an affirmation they resonate at the same vibration. The word mantra has two parts: man, which is the root of the Sanskrit word for mind; and tra, which is the root of the word instrument. A mantra is therefore an instrument of the mind, a powerful sound or vibration that you can use to enter a deep state of meditation. Repetition of the mantra helps you disconnect from the thoughts filling your mind so that perhaps you may slip into the gap between thoughts. As you experience deeper meditative states, all thoughts and worries drop away and you experience the quiet that always exists beneath the noisy internal dialogue of the mind. In this stillness you may feel oneness with all life and profound peace. Each mantra induces specific vibrations in the mind, which is why people use different mantras depending upon their intentions. Words and tones tend to slip into each other therefore exact pronunciation of the mantra doesn’t matter at this stage of non-local level of intelligence. If someone tries to maintain distinct pronunciation while the mind is in the process of transcending, the conscious effort for right pronunciation will undermine the natural meditation process.
According to the Vedic tradition, the ancient sages (The Great Old ones) were able to hear the subtle vibrations produced by everything in nature the sounds of the wind, thunder, butterflies, rushing rivers and all other creations. They recognized that these sounds are the manifestation of spirit into matter. They identified “Om” (or aum) as the most elemental sound, representing the infinite universal consciousness. For thousands of years, people have used this mantra to expand their awareness of the divine. When preforming mantras you can silently or in a low voice repeat the mantra this is a powerful way to enter the silence of the mind. As you repeat the mantra, it creates a mental vibration that allows the mind to experience deeper levels of awareness. As you meditate, the mantra becomes increasingly abstract and indistinct, until you’re finally led into an energetic field of pure consciousness from which the vibration arose.

The ankh represent the life-giving elements of air and water. It was often shown being offered to the king's lips as a symbol of the "breath of life" chains of ankhs were shown poured out of water vessels over the king as a symbol of the regenerating power of water. The ankh is the Egyptian symbol of eternal life when a person heart is weighed on a scale by Anubis, against the feather of truth. If the heart is heavier than the feather, it means that the person commited too many bad deeds in their life. It would be eaten by a monster named Ammut and recorded by Thoth. When a person's heart is eaten, they can't pass into the afterlife. A person's heart who isn't too heavy would pass on, thus creating an eternal life. The ankh represented the 4 pairs of primordial qualities, forces, or Deities known to the Ancient One. A = Amen/Amenet; N = Nun/Nunet; K = Kek/Kehhet; H= Heh/Hehet. These primordial creators are primordial sounds said or chanted together would be a word sound. This word sound can now be described as the Ankh, the tone of the primordial cosmos.
